You and I first met, on a hard new day You asked for help, and I
said: Okay. I’m here for you, you’re here for me A lovely start,
full of sympathy So here’s to laughter, here’s to tears,
Friendship, girl, is melting fears When you are down, just give me
a call Good friends forever, through it all. We sing and laugh and
dance around, Like flying high above the ground At every turn, we
both belong, Our friendship grows so deep and strong. So here’s to
laughter, here’s to tears, Friendship, girl, is melting fears When
you are down, just give me a call Good friends forever, through it
all. Like a river soft and slow, We help us breathe, we help us
grow When you drift or I lose my way, We whisper: Together we’re
okay. So here’s to laughter, here’s to tears, Friendship, girl, is
melting fears When you are down, just give me a call Good friends
forever, through it all. So here’s to laughter, here’s to tears,
Friendship, girl, is melting fears When you are down, just give me
a call Good friends forever, through it all. When you are down,
just give me a call Good friends forever, through it all.
