With Dr. Alfred Weidele leading both Synetics and the Phönix
Group, a new era in European cattle breeding is underway. For the
first time in four decades, breeding programs are being combined
to make top genetics accessible to all members. Close cooperation
between sire analysts and the planned European Breeding
Evaluation (EBE) aim to accelerate genetic progress, enhance
efficiency, and improve animal welfare. Further collaborations
