Ray McGovern discusses the US position in a rapidly changing
world. The Trump administration is in a position to change an
unsustainable militaristic foreign policy, yet it can also
trigger another world war. McGovern was a CIA intelligence
analyst for 27 years, chaired the National Intelligence Estimates
and participated in preparing the President's Daily Brief. He
received the Intelligence Commendation Medal at his retirement,
returning it in 2006 to protest the CIA's involvement in
