Slowly he pushes the straw hat from his face and squints at the
laughing sun. Sitting on the tree, he ponders the simple things
of life. The short nap has revived his senses. He hears the
gentle splattering sound of the nearby crystal clear river and he
observes the sparse clouds attentively. Within each of the white
giants, he discovers another fantasy. On one side, a cat is
stroked by a pirate while on the other side a squirrel loots an
ice cream for dessert. He loses himself in the peaceful parallel
worlds and lies down again. He closes his eyes and paints with
his imagination colorful backdrops for the pirate, the cat and
the squirrel. His imaginary adventures put a smile on his face.
Then he takes a deep breath and sighs. How beautiful this world
can be. Gradually, however, the bright thoughts darken. The sense
of duty rises like a threatening storm on the horizon. Actually,
he needs to go back to work again. The coordinator is already
losing his patience. But he pushes the negativity aside for a
while and still enjoys the simple life for a few more minutes.
