I slowly woke up with aching eyes, a booming head and dry throat.
The nasty trip still affected my body. The person who had put
this handkerchief under my nose had apparently misjudged the dose
of the substance significantly. The anesthetic was certainly much
stronger than the perpetrator had planned. Minutes passed and
nothing changed. I still couldn't move any part of my body while
my eyelids were still heavy and all my limbs feeling numb. So I
lay there in this white sterile room for an agonizing
eternity. At some point I noticed that my other senses were
also dimmed and only gradually resumed their work. I heard some
faint music that flowed softly to me from all corners of the
area. It suited my physical condition perfectly. Since I could
not find any change in my vital functions after another perceived
eternity, I started to focus on the melodies. They calmed my
raging mind, which of course wanted to find out what was going on
here. Slowly I let go all the negative thoughts about my alleged
kidnapping and let myself be guided into an ever deeper
meditative state. I concentrated fully on my breathing and the
music. So I tried to make the best of my current situation.
