Without making a sound, I move through the sleeping city as
nimbly as a big cat in the jungle. The silence is abruptly
interrupted by a dull hammering from a dark factory building.
Like the song of sirens, the rhythmic drumming draws me into its
spell. As I step into the large hall and the boom from the
speaker hits me, I have found the nocturnal life of the concrete
desert. Here I become one with the voice of the city and retreat
for hours - maybe even days – from the urban jungle!
