Slowly I push the straw hat from my face and squint at the
laughing sun. Sitting by the tree, I ponder the simple things.
The short nap has revived my senses. The splashing of the nearby
river resounds crystal clear and the sparse clouds I follow
attentively. Behind each of the white giants I discover another
fantasy. There a cat is petted by a pirate and there a squirrel
captures an ice cream for dessert. I lose myself in the peaceful
parallel worlds and let myself fall once again. Lying more than
sitting, I close my eyes and use my imagination to paint colorful
backdrops for the pirate, the cat and the squirrel. My made-up
adventures bring a smile to my face.
