This episode of bbp unendliche Reisewelten was recorded in Sri
Lanka. Louis sits down with Mr. Sanka, a local host and
entrepreneur from Negombo, who has created a very special place:
a hostel with an Adam-and-Eve-style garden, designed as a
welcoming space for people from all over the world to connect
with local culture, nature, and everyday life in Sri Lanka.
In this conversation, Mr. Sanka shares his journey of opening the
hostel, his vision behind it, and why creating a space for
genuine encounters matters so deeply to him. We talk about Sri
Lankan culture, hospitality, values, and what it means to invite
travelers not just to stay, but to truly experience the country
through human connection.
This episode is an intimate glimpse into local life, conscious
hosting, and the power of places that are built with heart,
intention, and openness.A beautiful listen for anyone who wants
to understand Sri Lanka beyond the surface — through the eyes of
someone who calls it home.

Lanka aufgenommen.
schaffen, in denen Reisende wirklich ankommen dürfen.
