Govinda Radhe Radhe is a powerful Krishna kirtan full of devotion
and sound energy – recorded during a satsang at Yoga Vidya
www.yoga-vidya.de in Bad Meinberg, Germany. This recording
embodies a living spiritual tradition: the praise of Radha and
Krishna in communal chanting.

The mantra “Govinda Radhe Radhe” connects divine love with
protective presence – through collective singing, it has a
transformative and centering effect.

The Kirtan:

Govinda Rādhe Rādhe, Gopala Rādhe Rādhe

Govinda Rādhe Rādhe, Gopala Rādhe Rādhe

Govinda Govinda Govinda Gopala Gopala Gopala Radhe

Govinda Govinda Govinda Gopala Gopala Gopala Radhe

Meaning:

Rādhe – invocation of the divine beloved Radha, the embodiment of
devotional love.

Govinda – A name of Krishna, literally meaning “protector of
cows,” representing his loving, guiding presence.

Gopala – Another name of Krishna, literally meaning “protector of
cows” or “cowherd.”

In the Bhakti tradition, this mantra symbolizes the inseparable
connection between divine love (Radha) and divine presence
(Krishna/Govinda). The constant repetition of the names serves to
open the heart, purify the mind, and experience divine joy
(Ananda).
