um das zentrale Wort des Evangeliums: Agape – die göttliche
Liebe, die sich selbst hingibt.Während das Alte Testament von
Ahawah spricht – einer treuen, hingebungsvollen Liebe – offenbart
das Neue Testament in Agape die vollkommene Form dieser Liebe:
eine Liebe, die nicht sucht, was ihr gehört, sondern was dem
anderen dient.Agape ist die Liebe, die von Gott ausgeht und zu
Gott zurückführt.Sie ist bedingungslos, unverdient und
opferbereit.Sie liebt nicht, weil jemand liebenswert ist, sondern
weil Gott Liebe ist.Beispiele in der Bibel:„Denn also hat Gott
die Welt geliebt, dass er seinen eingeborenen Sohn gab, damit
jeder, der an ihn glaubt, nicht verloren gehe, sondern ewiges
Leben habe.“ – Johannes 3,16„Die Liebe (Agape) ist langmütig und
freundlich, sie eifert nicht, sie bläht sich nicht auf, sie sucht
nicht das Ihre, sie erträgt alles, glaubt alles, hofft alles,
duldet alles.“ – 1. Korinther 13,4–7„Gott aber beweist seine
Liebe zu uns dadurch, dass Christus für uns gestorben ist, als
wir noch Sünder waren.“ – Römer 5,8Agape ist keine Emotion,
sondern eine Entscheidung – die höchste Form der Liebe, die das
eigene Wohl zugunsten des anderen aufgibt.Sie ist das Fundament
jeder wahren Beziehung, das Zentrum des Kreuzes und die Sprache
