B.C. has appointed former Vancouver mayor and provincial chief
coroner Larry Campbell to work on "improving the quality of life"
in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside neighbourhood. Michael Vonn, CEO
of the PHS Community Services Society, discusses what approaches
are needed in the neighbourhood, while longtime Vancouver
reporter and urban affairs journalist Frances Bula joins the show
to break down how Campbell's history in Vancouver could play out
in managing issues in the Downtown Eastside.
