Lucy broke the internet a couple of years ago, when she decided
to call out the event organizers after she won the local surf
competition in Sydney and she found out that the prize money was
not even half of the men prize money.


This moment has gone viral - she has been in the newspaper, the
local news stations and even on international TV. All those
actions led her to the position where she is now. Making films
about those topics and supporting female surfing.
