The Darkest Skies on Earth

Have you ever stood beneath a truly dark sky? Somewhere without
any light pollution, where the band of the Milky Way burned
bright above you, thousands of stars peppering the blackness of
the night and even dim foggy patches of star clusters and foreign
galaxies visible to the naked eye? There are few places like this
left on this planet. Paul recently went to one, that took his
breath away. He came back, knowing that he finally saw it: the
darkest place on Earth.
