Nuclear weapons are back. 


This week, Moscow announced that it would no longer abide by the
once hugely significant Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF)
Treaty. Last week, President Donald Trump announced that he had
moved nuclear submarines towards Russia.


From growing stockpiles in China and North Korea, to growing
cooperation between the UK and France, the direction of travel is
clear. 


As Japan marks the 80th anniversary of the devastating atomic
bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Venetia talks to Dr Sidharth
Kaushal, a senior fellow in military sciences at the Royal United
Services Institute in London.


What’s driving this new nuclear arms race? Which country will be
