Gravity Waves ... not gravitational waves ... move atmospheres
and make pretty clouds. Have you ever looked up into the sky and
seen bizarre cloud formations that look like waves on the ocean?
These are gravity waves. Not to be confused with gravitational
waves, and they’re caused by a balance of buoyancy and gravity.
And of course these have been seen across the solar
system.
