On August 19, 1987, the little town of Hungerford, Berkshire,
England lost its innocence. On that day, Michael Ryan reached his
limit and decided to take the firearms he owned legally and go on a
rampage. Over the course of six hours, Michael killed 16 people
seemingly indiscriminately and wounded 15 others. This mass killing
prompted the government in England to outlaw assault rifles.
