**ENGLISH AUDIO ONLY** Summer is nearly over. Before the weather
cools down and the nights grow longer, take a moment to soak up
the last rays of sunshine, charge your devices, and tune into the
latest episode of THAISPORA. Pako, along with artist and
diversity and inclusion advisor Cartoon (@kwamsookxo), share
their insights on Thai communities in both LA and Germany. They
also discuss why it bothers them when people use Buddha statues
as garden decorations and their mixed feelings regarding Pad
Thai.

Cartoon reflects on her experiences working in the healthcare
sector, highlighting the cultural challenges people with migrant
backgrounds may face during medical procedures. Beyond her work
in healthcare, Cartoon specializes in Thai-themed illustrations
and has been surprised by the impact her art has had on others.
Despite the geographical distance, the experiences of being part
of the Thai diaspora are often more similar than they first
anticipated. You can find Cartoon’s work here: Website -
