In this week’s episode of Hot on the Case, we dive into the
twisted true story of Anne Hamilton-Byrne, the glamorous,
delusional cult leader who convinced her followers she was the
reincarnation of Jesus Christ. But her power didn’t stop at
brainwashing adults… she stole dozens of children.

From forged adoption papers and psychedelic fueled mind control
to “siblings” raised in isolation, The Family was one of the most
bizarre and disturbing cults in Australian history.

This week we investigate how Anne built her empire of lies,
manipulated desperate mothers, and created a fake family in the
name of spiritual salvation.
