European elections — shift to the right, run-off elections and political instability - Europa wählt – Rechtsruck, Stichwahlen und politische Instabilität

As many as three European countries voted over the weekend — with
far-reaching consequences for the continent's political future. In
Romania, the pro-European candidate Nicușor Dan prevailed. In
Poland a runoff election between liberal Rafal Trzaskowski and
national conservative Karol Nawrocki will decide the future. And in
Portugal, despite the election victory of the centre-right party,
there is once again the threat of an unstable government, while the
far-right Chega Party is making massive gains. - Gleich drei
