Exam Jam is a series of short podcasts, created by the University
of Galway to prepare students for exam success. Hosted by Barry Ó
Siochrú, former Students' Union Vice President for Gaeilge 2022/23,
and joined by guest speakers each episode has everything you need
to be exam ready. In this episode, AnnMarie Gilchrist, Student
Advisor with the College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences
and the School of Law, provides practical tips on sitting your
first university exams. Student Advisors offer support to students
throughout their time at university. Students may seek advice or
guidance on a variety of matters including academic, personal,
professional or financial at various stages of their education. On
speaking with a Student Advisor, a student may be referred to an
individual staff member or another support service for further
