In this episode, Caróg Green, Student Enquiry Centre Coordinator
and Student Support Officers Teresa Lydon and Kelly Moore discuss
University of Galway semester one provisional exam results. Teresa
and Kelly emphasise that the provisional semester one exams are
provisional, so they can be subject to change. There is plenty of
time to take action if needed, if you fail an exam all is not lost.
Make sure to reach out to the supports that are available to you.
Please note regulations will vary by College and School. Please see
below some important differences: Pass rate for most programmes in
Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences is 50%. Pass by
Compensation does not apply to any programmes in the College of
Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences. Capping for students on
programmes in the College of Medicine, Nursing & Health
Sciences will be at the pass rate for their programme. Student
Support Officers are available for students who wish to discuss
personal, academic, financial or any other issues that may arise
while in University. You can contact your Student Support Officer
