Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Bäumer | FU Berlin | Professor in Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology

Our guest today ist Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Bäumer, European
specialist in veterinary pharmacology and toxicology, a
veterinarian and researcher in the field of veterinary
pharmacology and toxicology. He completed his doctorate at the
veterinary university in Hannover, held an endowed professorship
in Hannover and was associate professor in the U.S. at North
Carolina State University. Since 2017 he is professor and
managing director at the Institute of Pharmacology and
Toxicology, Department of Veterinary Medicine at Freie
Universität Berlin.


In addition to many tips for the postdoctoral period, the
interview also covers a plan B or C if the path to a
professorship doesn't work out, and how to build academic
networks.
