Bruce McAvaney PART 2 of 2: This week the boys are back
with more Bruce! Before jumping back into their conversation with
Bruce, Brian and Harrison briefly discuss AFL trade rumours and
then move onto the Paris Olympics where they review the Opening
Ceremony as well as looking ahead to BTs most anticipated events.
As mentioned in PART #1, Life of Brian is honoured to be joined by
the most esteemed sports broadcaster that Australia has ever
produced, Bruce McAvaney OAM. If you’re from Australia and you’ve
ever watched sport, you have no doubt witnessed Bruce’s brilliance.
His resume and list of achievements is astounding, he’s been at it
for almost 50 years covering Summer and Winter Olympics, horse
racing (incl. Melbourne Cups), AFL, Australian Open Tennis,
Australian Open Golf, World Athletics, Swimming World
Championships, Bledisloe Cup, Rugby World Cup and plenty more. To
put it simply, Bruce is one of the greatest commentators of
all-time, he calls with class, precision, and most importantly,
with absolute passion, he has been the soundtrack for
countless great Australian sporting moments. PART #2 covers;
Bruce's dream Olympic Men’s 100m final, who he would have at his
Olympic dinner party, the most important achievements in Australian
sport, biggest race days he's witnessed, and will we hear Bruce
calling Test Cricket? We also get his top 3 James Bond movies, some
stern thoughts on the 'Enhanced Games' and finally, an all-time
‘QUICK HANDS’. We thank Bruce for his time. This episode is brought
to by Grimley’s. Hosts: Brian & Harrison Taylor Guest: Bruce
