Der Griff nach dem Handy, um den Moment für die Ewigkeit
einzufangen, stellt Festivalveranstaltende vor eine
Herausforderung. Die Balance zwischen digitaler Interaktion und
unmittelbarer Festivalerfahrung zu finden, ist nicht einfach.


Dieses Panel untersucht die wachsende Abhängigkeit von Handys auf
Festivals und die Auswirkungen auf die Live-Erfahrung, da auch
Festivals von der Öffentlichkeitswirklichen Darstellung der
Besuchenden leben.


Insbesondere diskutieren Experten die Einführung von No
Photography Policies, um das physische Erlebnis und die soziale
Interaktion der Festivalbesucher zu fördern. Diskutiert werden
unter anderem die Gründe hinter dieser Idee, die Auswirkungen auf
die Künstler, das Publikum und die Festivalerfahrung sowie
mögliche Kompromisslösungen, die die Bedürfnisse aller
Beteiligten berücksichtigen.


ENG: Reaching for your cell phone to capture the moment for
eternity presents festival organizers with a challenge. Finding
the balance between digital interaction and the immediate
festival experience is not easy. This panel explores the growing
reliance on cell phones at festivals and the impact on the live
experience, as festivals also thrive on the public-facing
representation of attendees. In particular, experts will discuss
the introduction of no photography policies to promote the
physical experience and social interaction of festival-goers.
Discussions will include the reasons behind this idea, the impact
on artists, audiences and the festival experience, and possible
compromise solutions that take into account the needs of all
parties involved.
