Al Kelchner~Haunted Willow Creek Farm Al Kelchner’s interest in the
paranormal began during his childhood with Dickens’ “A Christmas
Carol” and continued with TV shows such as the 1970s era, “In
Search of”. His first actual encounters with spirits were during
his early to mid-twenties. But these paled in comparison to a
journey that began in the fall of 2006. On October 31 he received
the MLS listing for a property he would purchase and name Willow
Creek Farm. It was at the Title closing that he learned the house
was haunted. Within his first three months of residency, Al
seriously considered putting the property back on the market for
good reason. Willow Creek is considered one of the most haunted
private residences in Illinois. Al enjoys sharing stories about
ghostly encounters at the farm, his special relationship with the
some of the spirits and his theory about the emotional stages of
