The Squiz team is on a long weekend so we thought we’d pop ‘How Far
We’ve Come’ into the Shortcuts feed for any long road trips or lazy
mornings you may have planned. It's a 6-part series that looks
at some key moments for women on the path to financial equality and
aims to give women the tools to lock down their financial freedom.
In episode 3, we’re taking you to 1966 when the bar on employment
of married women in the Commonwealth public service was abolished.
It’s notable because it changed the nation's approach to allowing
women to take on permanent employment. So in this episode, we’ll
look at women and the fight for the right to work, and issues
around participation today. A special thanks to our podcast partner
on this series, NGS Super. Find out more about them here.
