As Co-Founder and Owner of Pure Yoga and Pure Kitchen Amber has
successfully built a brand that is known to Ottawa as not just a
yoga studio and restaurant, but a lifestyle. Pure Yoga first
opened their doors in 2012. In just 5 1/2 years Pure has grown
into four studios, and soon to be three, Pure Kitchen Vegetarian
Restaurants. Pure Yoga has recently expanded to Liberty Village
in Toronto and has built a successful Online Yoga Studio, Pure
Online. Ambers newest ventures include Ottawa’s hottest new bar
and lounge, Charlotte and opening this past December a women’s
clothing store called Tallow.

As a Yoga Teacher Amber is in her 11th year of teaching has over
1000hrs of training hours in classical hatha yoga and vinyasa
yoga. She has been the lead on Pure Yoga Ottawa’s 200hr Teacher
Training since 2015. Amber started leading yoga retreats in 2016
and has 4 retreats this upcoming year with destinations including
Costa Rica and Italy.

Amber was named one of Ottawa’s Top Forty under 40 in 2014, she
has been named top yoga instructor in Ottawa 3 times and has been
a brand ambassador for Lululemon since 2007. Amber was a keynote
speaker in 2015 at The Queen’s University Women in Leadership
Conference as an expert on branding, a keynote speaker at The
Ottawa Business Journal’s 2016 CEO talks and this year at Ottawa
University’s Womens Aspire conference. Pure Yoga has been
named “Best Yoga Studio” 4 times and in 2016 Pure Kitchen won the
BOB Award for “Best New Business of the Year”.

There are upcoming yoga retreats in Costa Rica March 11-18th and
Italy April 28- May 4th
