AF 148: Cryptocurrency Simplified Co-Founder and Alpha Female International Speaker Erica Stanford

Erica Stanford is co-founder of Cryptocurrency Simplified, a
learning resource that aims to make cryptocurrency, blockchain,
Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and their many use cases
easily understandable to both individuals and businesses. She is
a regular international speaker and commentator on
cryptocurrency, blockchain, and other emerging technologies and
their potential to challenge traditional beliefs, systems and
markets.


After completing her Master’s degree in Economics and Politics at
the University of Edinburgh, Erica did some
volunteering internationally and worked in sales and marketing
strategy for 8 years. On learning about the potential of
blockchain technology and digital currency, she spent 18 months
studying cryptocurrencies, blockchain and decentralisation and
achieved a 150x return on her initial investment at the peak of
the market.
She is currently working on a number of blockchain projects and
events, including an educational course on cryptocurrencies and
blockchain, a networking event for industry leaders – the Crypto
Curry Club, and two charity projects.
