Okay, so first of all, you guys know that the Spanish Super Cup
was played in Saudi Arabia this year, right? And not for the
first time, too. The Super Copa, as it’s often referred to in
Spain, saw a reform in 2019, which saw it undergo an expansion,
going from being a 2-team tournament to a 4-team one.  This
reform also involved the exportation of the competition to Saudi
Arabia. A deal worth 120 million euros was signed, and that deal
was going to see the competition take place in Saudi Arabia for 3
years.
