The Story Of A Footballer Who Was Better Than Cristiano Ronaldo

There’s a 34-year-old winger whom Cristiano Ronaldo himself
thought was better than him back in 2003. No, it’s not Lionel
Messi. Messi is 35. This guy we’re talking about is Portuguese,
and he and Ronaldo joined the Sporting CP academy in the same
year.

“If you think I’m good, just wait till you see Fabio Paim,” were
the words of Cristiano Ronaldo himself after he earned a big move
to Manchester United in 2003 aged 18. We all know how much CR7
believes in himself and in his abilities, so for him to say
someone else was better than him, then that person had to have
been really good.

So, what then happened to Fabio Paim? How come we never heard
much about him? Here is the story of a player who was better than
Cristiano Ronaldo.
