Scholars from Nigeria studying at the DFF

Three film students from Jos, Nigeria, were visiting the DFF in
Frankfurt, Germany, and Goethe-University in winter 2021/22. They
are the first Masterstudents from the joint program of University
of Jos and the Nigerian Film Institute “Film Culture and Archival
Studies”, the first master program in film archiving and film
culture in Africa. The M.A. is based on the joint Frankfurt
master “Film Culture – Archiving, Programming and Presentation”
of Goethe-University and DFF. Frauke Haß talks to Stephen
Onucheojo Okoh, Nnenna Emily Ukoh and Okorocha Collins Chinedu
about their experiences in Frankfurt and Wiesbaden: What they
learned about film and archiving, what they were surprised of,
what were their favourite activities and their favourite food!
