At Beckhoff, they call the approach with AI-supported engineering.
The result is: TwinCAT Chat. With TwinCAT Chat, the so-called Large
Language Models, such as ChatGPT from OpenAI, can be conveniently
used for the development of a TwinCAT project. This increases
productivity in control programming. But: Beckhoff does not only
rely on OpenAI. Other OS LLMs are also used. The Industrial AI
Podcast reports weekly on the latest developments in AI and machine
learning for the engineering, manufacturing, robotics, automotive,
process and automation industries. The podcast features industrial
