Composites Lounge powered by JEC Group with a Panel on batteries
at the recent ILA.

ILA's mission is pioneering aerospace and we from Composites
Lounge will talk about the battery technology with a group of
experts at the ILA Stage Aviation Future Lab that is organized by
the BDLI - Bundesverband der Deutschen Luft- und
Raumfahrtindustrie e.V.

While Ilkay Özkisaoglu, Co-Founder of Composites Lounge will host
the panel our panel guests include this year

Norbert Werle of Air2E

Markus Kochs-Kämper of VÆRIDION

Marc Fette of Composite Technology Center / CTC GmbH (An Airbus
Company)

Eric Swedersky of CustomCells

We will begin by giving you an overview of the current and future
state of aviation's propulsion, because as Marc Fette used to say
"Aviation is not one-dimensional".

Vaeridion has battery cells as their core technology in their
clean sheet designed aircraft model and will give you insights as
to circularity and answers the question whether there will ever
be an end of life?

In our round is of course a battery producer as well. Eric
Swedersky will explain why BMS (battery management systems) are
essential in the first place for EASA/FAA Approval.

Last, but not least we need the opinion of an aircraft fleet
operator. Norbert Werle has electric planes on order. As a true
pioneer we will discuss the logistic side of things and the
experience future business travellers can expect from an air-taxi
operator.

Raumfahrtindustrie e.V. is the central point of contact and we
thank him a lot for this collaborative activity. Finally, our
