Haithabu und Birka sind wohl die allgemein bekanntesten
Handelszentren der Wikinger. Diese und viele weitere bezogen die
Waren aus aller Welt. Fränkische Münzen, Arabisches Silber und
Schmuck aus Teilen Asiens holten die Wikinger nach Hause. Den
Ausmaß ihres Handels lernen wir heute kennen.
