Volcán de mi Tierruca, que pertenece a nuestro poeta e insigne
escritor salvadoreño Alfredo Espino, de su libro de poesía
Jícaras Tristes, Casucas.





A un Volcán de mi Tierruca nos describe toda la pintoresca vida
del campo, la identidad autóctona de la cultura salvadoreña; Sus
versos sobre los pueblos mágicos de El Salvador pertenecen a la
serie de poemas de La Tarde en El Pueblo y Tarde Poblana.





Sobre tu cumbre miro iluminados


los últimos rubores del poniente,


como si hicieras repentinamente


una erupción de pétalos rosados...
