Today, you will hear a conversation between Jaime Sevilla Molina
and our researcher Ronja Lutz who worked together at the future
of humanity institute in Oxford. Jaime is currently a Marie Curie
grantee at the University of Aberdeen, where he pursues a PhD in
Bayesian reasoning. Furthermore, he is a research affiliate at
the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk in Cambridge.
In the interview, Jaime talks about Artificial Intelligence,
Quantum Computing and even the probability of a nuclear war. He
explains methods and tips on how to be a good forecaster,
acknowledge uncertainty in predictions and why he thinks that
expert interviews can be somewhat misleading in making accurate
forecasts.
