Untersuchung zum Verhalten und der Haltung von Afrikanischen Straußen (Struthio camelus) unter deutschen Klimabedingungen

The aim of this study was to attain knowledge about ostrich
behaviour in captivity and to conclude from that to appropriate
animal husbandry under German farming conditions. Special concern
was given to the use of the stables and the influence of different
climate parameters. Recommendations for the optimisation of an
appropriate husbandry of ostriches should be formulated.
