George Whitesides: Nanoscience and Nanotechnology: A Portrait in Adolescence (2007)

Harvard researcher George Whitesides, one of today’s leading
chemists, gives a view of the current state of nanoscience and
nanotechnology. They are attracting great attention because they
may provide ways of extending the range and lifetime of existing
microtechnologies. Nanoscience will also lead to the discovery of
new phenomena, to new levels of understanding of nature and to new
technologies.
