In this episode, I'll take you across the pond to New York City,
where Ross Friedman, better known as Ross The Boss, is waiting
for us at the other end of the zoom line. A man who is left with
almost 50 years of music history in his bones and who has left
his mark on both Heavy Metal and Early US Punk. Most of course
associate him with MANOWAR where the guitarist
played a key role in the songs on the first six albums between
1982 and 1988. I'll leave you to your own opinion on how you rate
the material that was published afterwards ...

But before in the early 70s he was part of the New York
DICTATORS when he has taken the same breaths as
the Ramones and the Stooges with Early Punk in the Big Apple and
where they regularly dismantled clubs like the CBGB's.

Since 2006, Ross and his ROSS THE BOSS band have
been releasing razor-sharp Epic Metal, which repeatedly reminds
of its heydays from the 80s. Nevertheless he always packs an
additional portion of power as he proved to us with the album
"Born Of Fire" which has been released in the middle of the
Corona Lockdown.

During our conversation we then went through all the
projects bit by bit, until at the end he told me a secret about
what he will be up to next. So stay tuned.
