Today we have a guest from the UK, Steve Appleby. Steve talks
about his background in the Royal Air Force, before he moved into
the bus industry as an engineer. He explains how the Royal Air
Force shaped his leadership style and which learnings he put into
practice later on when he joined the bus sector. He elaborates
the innovation development in the bus industry of the past ten
years and explains why the slow progress will increase rapidly
within the years to come. Moreover, he provides a deep look
through the lifecycle of a bus and talks about background stories
the usual passenger never gets across. Enjoy our international
