Today we are learning why inner growth is so important to deal with
the meta-crisis our civilization is facing right now - on an
individual, organizational and societal level. We are discussing
why we need a shift in our worldview and why the ability to deal
with complexity can help us to manage a societal transformation. We
cannot imagine a better guest for this topic than Tomas Björkman -
he is passionate about transferring leadership development that he
experienced in the business world to a societal level. That's why
he co-developed the Inner Development Goals, an initiative inspired
by the sustainable development goals, organizes retreats that focus
on inner growth for young and older people with his Oak Island
foundation in Sweden, wrote several books and is a member of the
Club of Rome, to name but a few of his projects. We talk about his
own maturation journey, examples of governments and organizations
that already work with the Inner Development goals and what we need
to do in order to enable a more elegant and beautiful future.
