In today's English episode you will meet Aksana Berdnikova. In
the first part of the interview we talk about her journey, how
she emigrated to the USA as an illegal immigrant and lost her
left sight at the age of 19. What challenges she had to overcome
and what lessons she was taught about acceptance and self-love.
The fact that Aksana, against the advice of all doctors, decided
to follow her heart and study art instead of trying to preserve
her remaining eye speaks for her courage in life to decide
against fear and to trust in herself.

After she gradually lost the sight in her remaining eye 4 years
ago and was officially classified as legally blind after various
operations, some of which were unsuccessful, she had had enough.
She did not want to accept this and asked for help, whereupon her
intuition brought her to Peru to our two-week Ayahuasca Retreat.
The rest is history...

Aksana's ayahuasca experience made me want to bring this kind of
work to as many people as possible and is the reason why I am now
doing what I am doing and you are listening to this podcast.
