In this episode Sebi talked to Hans Christian Tungesvik from
Norway

The Viking grew up as Norwegian as can be and started endurance
sport in the form of XC-Skiing at a very young age. Realizing he
was lacking just a little to be one of the best in his country,
he moved over to triathlon, always having liked the multisport
aspect of XC-Skiing as they also bike and run a lot in summer.

And what a successful transition it was! Despite the difficulties
he was facing in learning how to swim fast, he was always able to
put his strengths on the table when it mattered and crowned
himself King of Norseman in 2019. Even though Hans has not been
racing full time professionally anymore since ‘21 he was still
able to claim some more renowned victories such as 2*World
Championship Titles in Winter Triathlon and a win in the Duathlon
this year. As he said „switching the swim again for XC-Skiing was
not the worst, as I also enjoy training on skis much more than
swimming.

Besides his active side of life we also get some interesting
insights on Hans Christians social life, his thrive to always
keep going and of course he doesn’t leave out the one or other
story to make you laugh
