Yes, under the bonnet (British) or hood (US american) and other
body in black (not white) components you find carbon composites
in this piece of race engineering.

Join me to one of the most funniest interviews this year and let
me introduce you to fun composites expert Naomi Johnson. I
approached her during the recent International Composites Summit
in Milton Keynes (UK) when David Bailey FRAeS Ph.D of Composites
UK - Trade Association pointed me to the yellow luxury beast of a
sports car.

Not only does Naomi run us through the process of DFM (Design for
Manufacture) that she applies at KS Composites with her luxury
motorsport car manufacturers, but also explains the
aforementioned body panel system which is easy to paint. Which
means this bright yellow color is carbon black underneath in
reality.

Naomi knows all the weave types, all the matrices and glossy or
matt finishes and she demonstrates carbon in a way that will blow
your mind!

Naomi is a true role model in composites! She lives and breathes
composites.
