Lewis MacKenzie about his study on science podcasts

"If someone cares about it, there is a podcast about it", says
Lewis MacKenzie a postdoc researcher in biomedical optics. He
recently published a paper about science podcasts: Science
podcasts – Analysis of global production and output from 2004 to
2018. We talked about his research, methods, data basis and of
course, the outcome of his study. How many science podcasts are
there and what characterizes them? This study, as Lewis MacKenzie
states, provides the first ‘snapshot’ of how science podcasts
are being used to communicate science to public audiences around
the globe.
