Supreme Court nominees, and the sitting justices have often been at
the center of political storms. From Marbury v. Madison, which
elevated the court to a co-equal branch of government, to FDR’s
infamous court packing plan, and the failed nomination of
conservative judge Robert Bork in the 1987 - the Guys look at how
political pressures have shaped the country’s highest court.
