This episode is light on banter because, well, there was just too
much to talk about.

We start off nice and simple with one of our patent-pending
5×2 lists of the announcements from GAMA that we are most
interested in, and then hit the ground running with two
controversial issues that have been all over the gaming
interwebs. Days of Wonder’s decision to take the slaves out of
Five Tribes, and, of course, the announcement that Gencon is
threatening to leave Indianapolis at the end of their contract if
a new RFRA law is not changed.

We realize that when you talk about this sort of thing, you can’t
make everyone happy. Rarely is that even possible with an issue
that has reached this sort of magnitude. What we don’t want to
see is a comments section breaking down into two sides drawing
clear battle lines and shouting over each other. There is enough
of that other places, and we hope to take one step towards
bringing the humanity back into this equation.
