Hallo Freunde hier kommt das zweite Set meiner REMIXED Reihe... diesmal mit Maceo Plex Viel Spaß... Hello friends here comes the second set of my REMIXED series... this time with Maceo Plex Enjoy It... Mixed & Selected by Kurt Kjergaard BIO Maceo Plex Maceo Plex is an expert in deep house and electro. He has been working the circuit since 2001 and over the past ten years he has gone from a simple DJ to a high quality performer. He has an unteachable high proficiency when it comes to music and mixing live which has seen his reputation flourish on the circuit amongst fans and critics. He is now highly recommended so every crowd seems to be getting bigger and bigger especially when he stops off at the likes of the Parklife and Ultra Music Festival. The tents get packed to the rafters and everybody shares the mentality that they are there to have one hell of a party. For over an hour Maceo provides the soundtrack with original mixes worked within remixes for the likes of Röyksopp and more. The crowd does not stand still for a second and the roars echo around the tent as real celebration of this talented DJ. Hallo Freunde ab heute startet meine neue Mix-Reihe REMIXED in dieser Reihe präsentiere ich Artists mit ihren Remixen in einem Set. Den Anfang macht Adam Port Viel Spaß... Hello friends my new mix series REMIXED starts today in this series I present artists with their remixes in one set. Adam Port is the first Enjoy It... Mixed & Selected by Kurt Kjergaard BIO Adam Port When reviewing Adam Port’s musical merits at this point in time, it shows that most of it took shape off the beaten path. Be it the conditions that sparked his DJ-career. Be it his approach of DJing itself or be it his artistic progression, manifested in his productions.Over the last years, Adam landed a string of much noticed releases on different labels, be it on Keinemusik, his Berlin-based label-mainstay and collective of fellow artists &ME, Rampa, Reznik and designer Monja Gentschow. Or be it on imprints like Freerange, Pets, Cocoon, Moon Harbour etc. It’s been tunes that immediately brought worldwide attention to his name. But then, instead of doing the obvious, getting a management, meeting demands, playing those big stages, delivering the hits, Adam once again did what felt best for him. Maintaining artistic integrity, releasing records that reflect where his love for music is at in one moment, not knowing where it might be on the very next release, and keeping DJ-sets not only interesting for a crowd, but also himself. That’s where he is at right now. There’s no scene-dictated tunnel view in his activities, there is only a pointed emphasis on style, on groove and sophistication. An emphasis, that, because it’s informed by Dub, Danchall, Rap, Soul or even Psychedelic Rock, is advanced enough to always shine through the inflationary characteristic of the genre as notably original. Hallo Freunde heute gibt es einen neuen Teil meiner KK PRESENTS Reihe... diesmal präsentiere ich euch Ron Flatter aus Berlin, Germany Viel Spaß mit seinem Mix... Hello friends today there is a new part of my KK PRESENTS series... this time I present you Ron Flatter from Berlin,Germany Enjoy his mix... BIO: Warm, groovy tech house paired with well selected melodic elements - that's Ron Flatter's recipe for an energetic mix on the dance floor: No matter if it's warm up, peak time or closing. You can feel his irresistible energy on stage and also throughout all of his plentiful productions. In the last decades his passion for electronic music led the German DJ and producer Ron Flatter all around the world. Ron's unique sound design and melodies thrilled fans everywhere on the planet. In Brazil, Japan, Russia, Indonesia and many other countries he was able to captivate the audience with his sets. The crowd in legendary clubs such as Berlin's Tresor, Kater Blau or Sisyphos regularly enjoys Ron's energy and unmistakably groovy sound. Because of his long touring history Ron can look back on many magnificent memories. One huge highlight for him are his Lebanon shows - the energy of the people always gives Ron goose bumps. Ron's many years of touring have also brought curious unique moments with them - like a gig at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao when he played between van Gogh and Picasso. There are also wonderful memories from festivals like Fusion or Feel Festival - events known for their magical atmosphere. However, Ron's energy is not only reflected in his gigs, but also in the studio. In 2003 he released his first record ‘Playmate’ on Hi-Fi Records - the beginning of a long journey. In 2008 his first milestone as a music producer followed: a release on the legendary label Boxer Sport. One year later Ron founded his own imprint Pour La Vie Records. This label also became the home of his first album 'Growth Rings' in 2011. 2013 was the year of Ron's first hit release on the legendary Cologne-based label Traum Schallplatten, 'Mantequilla'. His first EP on the Berlin label Stil Vor Talent followed. In 2018 Ron released his second album 'Muscle Of Synths', again on Pour La Vie Records. Numerous singles and EPs followed on well-known imprints like Einmusika, Katermukke, Hive Audio, Parquet Rec., Motek, Style Records, Definition Records, Beat Boutique or Ritter Butzke Studio. For the future we can expect a lot from Ron: releases on Eleatics, Pour La Vie Rec., many remixes and even a third album are already in the pipeline.
