Uganda is a country struggling from political lockdowns, which is
increasing their humanitarian crises. I spoke with Vivian Nabeta,
founder of the Sonia Nabeta Foundation. In her counrty, kids need
to travel up to 6h every 6 weeks, the majority of that by foot,
to reach the nearest clinic for their next insulin vial. This
issue got even bigger due to lockdowns and further limits of
transportation.

Now, motoscylce taxis are being used to bring medication to
remote areas, making Uganda a pilot country to reduce this travel
gap families face, which otherwise prevents them from accessing
insulin. I spoke with Vivian about her life saving project, how
it all started and how to keep insulin cool without fridges.
