Outrun inspirational porn

Paul Vugteveen is a type 1 diabetic from the US, who started a
campaign called “outrun the homelessness” to disrupt
intergenerational poverty in his region. He challenges the
dominant idea that poverty is a moral position and believes
housing is a human right. He let’s us reflect on the racist and
sexiest structures that make correlation exist with those issues
in the first place.


Paul is a great example, that diabetes cannot stop us, but rather
inspires us to become more and support each other. Yet, Paul
highlights that this is no inspirational porn. He says: “I am not
hear for someone else’s inspiration”. He talks about the betrayal
people with disabilities can face and what this definition means
